Jack C. Thompson, C.B.O., has been involved in municipal building inspections and model code plan review as Chief Building Official, Building Inspector, and Plans Examiner for over 20 years.
Jack has served as a multi-discipline building codes consultant for the Facilities Management / Information Technology Group with Carter & Burgess, Inc. He is co-founder and past Chairman of the American Association of Code Enforcement. Jack has served as Chairman of the Building and Energy Advisory Board of the North Central Texas Council of Governments and as Vice-Chairman of the Regional Codes Coordinating Committee of the North Central Texas Council of Governments, over-seeing regional code amendment development and implementation of the International Building, Residential, Fire, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fuel Gas, Energy, and Existing Buildings Codes. Jack holds a B.A. Degree from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas.
Jack and his wife, Sharon, have one son, daughter-in-law and a grandson that live in Flower Mound, Texas. They also have a daughter and son-in-law that serve as Missionaries to Hong Kong (SAR), China.
